Resumen

Personnel Selection is a key process of Human Resources Management and is responsible for the election and incorporation, to the entity, of the worker whose characteristics are closer to those of the ideal profile of a given position. For this reason it is necessary to minimize those subjective issues that may contribute to a bad choice The Theory of Fuzzy Subsets provides an instrument capable of combating uncertainty and subjectivity around decision making. Among the new tools that can be used are the OWA operators, which allow adding information. In this sense, the article proposes to develop a procedure for the selection of personnel in the company La Vega based on mathematical tools that help to attenuate the subjectivity present in these processes. The work is structured in three epigraphs. The first addresses the main theoretical notions related to the Selection of Personnel and considers the basic elements of the Theory of Fuzzy Subsets. The second section presents the proposed procedure for the selection of personnel based on fuzzy mathematics and OWA operators. Finally, the third section simulates the application of the same in the entity La Vega, in order to validate the feasibility of it. The fundamental contribution of the proposal lies in the extrapolation of mathematical tools such as OWA Operators to the decision-making process concerning the selection of personnel.
