Metodología para la evaluación de proveedores. Caso de estudio: Empresa Especializada Importadora, Exportadora y Distribuidora para la Ciencia y la Técnica (EMIDICT)

Currently the logistics, and with it the sourcing and procurement, have reached a leading role at a dynamic stage of the world economy and an increasingly competitive environment. Thus they are highlighting the selection and evaluation of suppliers, as key factors in the effective and efficient achievement of the products or services required, and as determinants of a competitive business management. This research I developed in EMIDICT and it has the general objective to apply a procedure to evaluate vendors belonging to the portfolio of EMIDICT for imports of Analytical Instruments and Laboratory since these are the most representative products of the purchases made by the company annually. Is anticipated that a correct application of the selected methodology and the extension of these studies to other areas and processes will lead the entity to bigger and better results.
