A biomedical engineer with a focus on telemedicine solutions, he obtained his PhD in Biomedical Engineering. One of its most outstanding projects is the "Design and technical validation of a telemedicine service for rural health care in Ecuador", which has been fundamental in improving access to health services in rural communities. Her work continues to positively impact healthcare in hard-to-reach areas, using technology to transform public health.
