HIGH ABILITIES: A CHALLENGE FOR EDUCATION

Press/Media

Description

The 2025 Humanities Congress at the UEES put on the table the importance of identifying students with high intellectual abilities in time, an issue that is still little visible in Ecuador. Psychologists and educators agree that early detection prevents frustration, anxiety and loss of motivation, allowing children and young people to fully develop their potential. Experts such as Brenda Buccelli and Gladys Lindao emphasize that high abilities are not a disorder, but a different configuration of the brain, and that addressing them with flexible pedagogical strategies is key to transforming lives and environments.
